dog milk and blanket id team up

Two of our favorites – Dog Milk and blanketID have teamed up to design the Dog Milk Donation by Design Collection — a few swank dog tags, with  smart technology, with proceeds going to benefit some great charities. blanketID tags are connected to your pet’s profile online, you can send their vital information in an immediate ‘Missing Pet’ broadcast to local shelters, animal hospitals, rescues, SPCA locations, and other blanket ID members in your area. You can also print your own lost/stolen pet posters and, when your pet is notified as found using a smartphone, you can receive a GPS map and driving instructions to that location.

We’re diggging the Diamond tags designed by Dog Milk founder and editor of Design Milk, Jaime Derringer, and since geometrics are hot, the Wink pattern  designed by Dog Milk Managing Editor Capree Kimball, is so cute and current.

Even better: $5 from the sale of each and every tag goes to charity (plus, an on-going portion of any membership fees, yes, the blanketID tag system has recurring fees to keep your data online). The charities are: HeavenSent Bulldog Rescue in New Jersey (Diamond tags) and Friends of Animals Utah (Wink tags). Both organizations do great work in bringing awareness to local communities as well as finding safe and loving homes for animals in need.
