About Fine Art Giclee Prints:
All of our prints are printed on 100% cotton rag archival acid free (and tree-free) paper with non-toxic inks. Under optimal conditions, these prints are rated for a ‘print life’ of 75-100 years without noticeable fading. “Optimal conditions” means for best results, hang your print out of direct sunlight, and if possible, under UV protective glass.

How Big are the Prints?
The sizes we list for all prints represent the paper size, and include a border around the frameable image area. A print that we list at 8×10” will have an image area about 6.5” x 8.5”.

Color Representation on Monitors:
We do our best to make the on-screen image accurate to the actual prints, but please be aware that variations in computer monitors will mean that we cannot guarantee ultimate color accuracy.

  1. Greetings,

We’ve enjoyed your blog and wanted to let you, and your readers, know about an art exhibition we have currently at Blue Spiral 1 gallery in Asheville, NC (a VERY dog friendly town, BTW).
Blue Spiral 1 opens its 2012 exhibition season with DOG SHOW, featuring playful works that celebrate Man’s Best Friend. Fifteen invited artists create paintings, prints, art quilts, and whimsical objects in glass, metal, clay and mixed media.

We love dogs for their personality, and DOG SHOW resonates this idea through an array of humorous and endearing interpretations of the beloved animal. Examples range from breed-specific works, such as Keith Bradley’s large-scale metal poodle sculpture and Eddie Bernard’s hot-sculpted glass “Dalmadrant” (a hybrid between a fire hydrant and a dalmatian wearing a fire fighter’s helmet), to stylized painter Margaret Couch Cogswell and framed art quilts by Chris Roberts-Antieau. Other standouts include mixed media assemblages by June Corley, made almost entirely from reclaimed sign lettering, and Jim Kransberger’s automata, where the twist of a handle effects a wagging tail or nervous head-turning. DOG SHOW continues through February 25th—VIEW EXHIBITION ONLINE at http://www.bluespiral1.com or the following link > https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150515981488661.382021.169982523660&type=1&l=061f2a1a35

List of participating artists — Eddie Bernard, Katherine Bernstein, Keith Bradley, Margaret Couch Cogswell, June Corley, Melanie Eberhardt, Mary Engel, Andy Farkas, Dolan Geiman, Becky Gray, Murray Johnston, Jim Kransberger, Chris Roberts-Antieau, Micah Sherrill, and Jessica C. White.

Celebrating its 22nd year, Blue Spiral 1 is a three-level, 15,000 square foot gallery specializing in Southeastern fine art and craft. Located at 38 Biltmore Avenue, the gallery is open 10-6, Monday-Saturday and Sundays 12-5. For further information, please call 828-251-0202 or email info@bluespiral1.com.

We’re happy to email images to use as you see fit. Thank you in advance for helping spread the word and please let us know if you have any questions.

    Regards,
    Jon Sours
